Scott Cole Tama Wood Kaleidoscope
Scott Cole Tama Wood Kaleidoscope is made from Tama wood that is a Japanese ash. The scope has a ball-bearing mechanism for smooth turning and flame-worked glass in the object chamber. Scott produces a very limited edition for all his scopes for he is busy teaching the art of scope making and is not into mass production.
Scott Cole has been designing innovative beautiful copper, brass and aluminum encased and etched kaleidoscopes for over 25 years. The Tama wood scope is unique to his art. He has shown his work in galleries and museums throughout the world and has been featured on television, as well as in numerous books and articles. Scott has taught at the John Campbell Folk School for over two decades, and also in numerous states throughout the country, and even in Thailand.
