The Association of Teachers and Lecturers warn that rising numbers of children are unable to perform simple tasks such as using building blocks because of overexposure to iPads…ok this could be picking on ipads for I’m sure all computers are having the same effect. I have seen several articles adding to the list of what kids can no longer do but none list all the skills children have gained.
I will say I prefer to type it out on my computer than write it out, but as I tell my kids that you cannot count on spell check for it is not always the right version of the word needed if even the word. Whole new languages are coming about with texting LOL and computers. When I think of the changes my grandparents saw in their lifetime I wonder what we will look back on. Remember Pong? The “cell Phone” in the movie Pretty Woman?
How long to we can tap out chest and request info from computer…not long for info is at your finger tips on your ipad!
