Christmas in July…ho ho ho
It is hot outside, 104 today, and it is hard to think about the holidays but this is the time of year when retailers have to start making commitments to manufacturers and artists for the holiday season. Every year it is a guessing game as to what the upcoming holiday season will bring. What will the hot toy be that everyone wants and in the case of Art Of Toys what is the toy that everyone will want that won’t be in the big boxes or slashed on the internet… dang retail is hard now and not getting easier.
So far we have spiced up the selection from San Francisco artist emiko oye that creates fun and fabulous jewelry from Legos. We will load all this as soon as it arrives and have out for the upcoming Assemblage Show. https://artoftoys.com/emiko-oye/
Expanded the selection of ERZGEBIRGE handcrafted wood ornaments and nutcrackers from Germany. I love these wonderful ornaments that are all made in cottage industry using patterns from generations past. They make great gift toppers and are fun to use all year…how about adding baby and duck ornaments to a plant for a baby gift?
