Artist Statement
Hi there, I’m Amber, I have enjoyed creating art all my life. Studying the biological sciences and learning about all the different lifeforms living alongside us is what inspired me to begin creating dolls. I believe that there is no us and them, there is only the collective nature of life and being, all lifeforms comprise a part of the whole and all are important vessels of energy . I like to create characters that are representative of the interconnectedness of all living things- and bring them to life in the form of art dolls. This way I can share with others the beauty and inspiration that I find in this frequently tumultuous world. I am always learning and finding new sources of inspiration.
