Cartoons Starring Donald Duck 1934-1961

Cartoons starring Donald Duck 1934-1961 is a list of Donald Duck Disney’s Comedian first appearance on screen from in 1934, in The Wise Little Hen, and he also made a striking, squawking appearance as a loud, quacking, obstreperous duck in Mickey Mouse’s first color cartoon, The Band Concert (1935), considered one of Disney’s best by critics, featuring Mickey leading the Overture to William Tell and “Turkey in the Straw” – together.

Donald became part of Mickey’s retinue of other early Disney characters, which included Minnie Mouse; Clara Cluck, the operatic hen (the voice of Florence Gill); Goofy, originally called Dippy Dawg; Clarabelle the Cow; Horace Horsecollar; Peter Pig and Peg Leg Pete. Donald Duck as a cartoon star almost achieved equal status with Mickey, and to some he was and is their very own favorite.
