Collectors Decorating 2
Yesterday I re-addressed the discussion of decorating with your collections and today I will expand on this limitless topic of collectors decorating!
One of the easiest decorating tricks is too incorporate your collection into another. A bookcase to some would be a collection of books but if you add in your toys in highlighted spots it adds interest to both the books and your toys. Try to leave some blank space between items if possible.
Here is another fun idea! Take old coke boxes and those legs left over from yesterdays parson tables and make a place for tiny toy collections! I made small puff pillows for each slot to bring toy closer to top and to put a lighter background under toy but you can use any color to go with your decor. I had glass cut for top and corners added to keep in place. Put end to end they make a coffee table but can be used as end tables if split up.

If you want to use the top of a table for a collection remember to create a pyramid and leave some spaces to rest the eyes.
