1. what is your cost of material
  2. what is your time worth or better yet how much would it cost you to pay someone else to create…your time is worth $
  3. add a basic profit (this will be lower when you first start)
  4. So now you have determined a wholesale price so you want to put into a gallery or store
  5. Double the price you sell to the public- no gallery or retail will handle you if you undercut them…
  6. Remember big bucks are earned and what the market will bear will help to determine pricing if you think it’s worth a million bucks make sure someone else (other than your mother ) agrees.  I find new artists usually under value their worth!
