The Zanini & Zambelli Doll Company is a family owned and operated business. It is located in Canneto Sull ‘Oglio in the province of Mantova, Italy. The original owners were Adelaide Zanini and Francesco Zambelli, husband and wife, who founded the company in 1948. Their children, Gino Zambelli and Wilma Zambelli continued the tradition. Wilma Zanbelli was also the designer of the dolls and an artist and crafter in her own right.
Time has passed and the company has adapted itself from totally hand-made product to efficient modern methods of production and marketing, making Zanini & Zambelli a leader in the doll business, while maintaining personal finishing touches and high quality.
The Zanini & Zambelli Doll Collection has more than 200 different styles sold world wide. The line features all soft bodied dolls including babies, toddlers and girl and boy dolls which have rooted hair and moving eyes. All parts of the doll are manufactured in the factory except for the eyes and mechanical parts which come from other sources.
The fine quality and attention to detail and design has made Zanini & Zambelli dolls a treasure to own and love.Since children are the judges, Zanini & Zambelli have alsways tried to do their best.
