Description
German Frozen Charlote is a small 2.5″ doll created 1850-1920. This doll has a flat clay like finish but is listed as white bisquefinish online. The red bonnet and tie are painted red. Marked on back Germany. These dolls were popular during the Victorian era and were mass produced in Germany. They are characterized by being a single solid piece (without joints) and were often inexpensive toys.
