Arthur McViccar
Since 1987, artist Arthur McViccar has used the wood lathe to create both functional and ornamental pieces– such as bowls, vases, and toys. His joy in turning comes from “the reveal” of each unique block of wood. He has been involved in workshops and woodturning associations on both local and national levels and is currently President of the Lafayette Art Association. As a Master Craftsman member of the Louisiana Crafts Guild his work is exhibited in galleries and gift shops nationwide.
