Humboldt Gnome soft sculpture doll by California artist Terri Rehg. This darling gnome is a one of a kind handcrafted cotton knit with natural wool hair. Gnome wears a hand knit sweater with black wool felt pants, bright red cone cap and soft brown leather hand stitched boots. Gnome comes complete with a wood base covered in bits from his forest and a nice wood staff. The gnome and the staff are not attached to base. 

Gnome is 10″ not including red cap or base

Textile Artist Terri Rehg

Terri Rehg is a textile artist that creates whimsical characters, monsters and dragons using mixed media. Inspiration taken from her years in the toy industry and working for Disney she enjoys the open end of imagination in fantasy. Exploring different techniques in soft sculpture and embroidery in combination with sculpting new forms.

Terri is now discovering retired life with the challenges and joys of living on her own with children grown! So here she is, back full circle ready to dive in. Terri represented toy lines and toy artists for 14 years, went to Disney Collectibles ( which she loved), moved to selling art and ended in ladies accessories. The oldest of eight children she has been “Sister” to a wonderful tight knit family that shares many artists in their flock. Pre2022 signed her work as “Sis”. Terri is now combining the knowledge acquired from all her past positions to create her own fun fantasy art.
