Seaweed Monster by Terri Rehg is a handcrafted soft sculpture of felt appliqued and embroidered in turqoise and bright lawn green. This happy wall hanging is a ONE OF A KIND and the third in the “Hanger” series created by textile artist Terri. Embroidered eyes, patterned cheeks and appliqued arms and legs are tiny details. This fun little felt creation is designed to hang on the wall but can sit against wall or pillow as well. Approx 16″ tall by 6″ wide (not including arms)
Terri has been creating toys since she was a child and studied Textiles in school. Learning the craft of the toy maker is a dream that has taken a life time to achieve and incorporate into her art. The oldest of eight children she has been “Sister” to a wonderful tight knit family that shares many artists in their flock. Pre2022 signed her work as “Sis”.
