Tiny dolls enjoyed perhaps their greatest popularity between 1880 and 1930 and were produced in vast quantities at that time. Most of the major doll manufacturers such as Kestner, Kammer and Reindhardt, and Simon and Halbig made them, and both quality and price could vary greatly. Japan followed in production.
