About the Piece
Textile artist Terri Rehg hand-sculpts each creature through an intuitive process she describes as “discovering the faces that live within the canvas.” Red Demon II emerged stitch by stitch—starting with those arresting bloodshot eyes and building outward until this cheeky devil came to life. The result is a one-of-a-kind soft sculpture that challenges the boundary between cute and creepy.

Mixed media soft sculpture combining felt, poly fill, hand stitching, embroidery, and exotic lime beaded teeth. Mounted on a black wooden plaque accented with gold embellishment. The entire piece has been clear-coated for protection and longevity.

About the Artist
Terri Rehg has been creating toys and textile art since childhood, formally studying textiles and spending a lifetime mastering the craft of toy making. The oldest of eight children in a tight-knit artistic family, she formerly signed her work as “Sis” (pre-2022). Her creatures emerge organically—each face discovered through the meditative stroke of needle and thread, making every piece utterly unique.
