Description
Jennifer felt handmade doll by California artist JoAnne Gregg for her doll company trademarked in 1983 as Jodi’s Friends. This wonderful detailed and quality jointed doll was created in 1984 and is marked on back “Jodi 84 5 B-6″ . Costume includes cotton fabric dress with ilet and rick rack trim, white bloomers, pinafore and felt flower trimmed hat. There is a slight dent on crown of hat and bloomers elastic is loose. A very full arcrylic dark brunette wig complete the details. This doll has been stored in the included handmade box with original label. Doll has hang tag and is 17” tall.
I proundly represented JoAnne Gregg dolls in 80’s doll market in California so have picutres and price sheets from first Pomona Toy Show that will be included. There were far more dolls created as seen in photos than actual production. Dolls all were planned 100-500 editions listed but unlikely ever met those goals. JoAnne held the copyright for Jodi’s Friends until 1996. JoAnne is wearing navy jacket in below photo.
