About the Piece
Part of Terri Rehg’s Gray Series, Moogle Monster exemplifies the artist’s intuitive creative journey. The gray canvas series began as a painting concept but evolved into something far richer—a collection of dimensional textile creatures, each entirely unique. Following her signature process, Moogle started with those expressive golden eyes, then emerged stitch by stitch into full, animated life.

About the Artist
Terri Rehg is a California-based textile artist who creates whimsical characters, monsters, and dragons using mixed media. Drawing on her years in the toy industry and time working for Disney, she explores the open-ended realm of fantasy imagination. Her work combines soft sculpture, embroidery, and sculpting techniques to create creatures that blur the line between textile art and dimensional storytelling. She formerly signed her work as “Sis” (pre-2022).
